THE WORKFLOW

How to use this concrete cost calculator

  1. Choose known concrete volume or enter project dimensions; confirm the units.
  2. Enter your supplier price and matching volume price basis.
  3. Add optional waste, delivery and other fixed fees; calculate material cost and total estimate.

Formula & assumptions

Material cost = order volume × entered price in matching volume units. Total = material cost + delivery + other fixed fees.

Prices and fees are supplied by you. USD is a display convention, not a pricing database. Labor, reinforcing, base, excavation, pump rental and tax are not automatically included.

AN ARITHMETIC EXAMPLE, NOT A RECOMMENDATION

Worked example

Example only: 2 yd³ at an illustrative entered $150/yd³, plus $50 delivery. This is not a market price.

$350Estimated material + fees
  • Net volume2 yd³
  • Order volume2 yd³
  • Order volume54 ft³
  • Order volume1.529 m³
Example calculation

Extra: 1.52911 m³ × (1 + 0 / 100) = 1.52911 m³. Conversion: divide m³ by 0.764554857984 to obtain yd³.

Material: 2 yd³ × $150/yd³ = $300. Add entered fees $50 = $350.
